The Shalford Village Hall
Welcome to Shalford Village Hall. We provide a thriving and multi-purpose venue which has been meeting the recreational and social needs of the local community and businesses for over 50 years.
Shalford Village Hall provides a flexible mix of different sized halls and rooms which can be hired individually or jointly and set out to suit your needs.
The main building consists of the Main Hall and two function rooms, The Chinthurst Room and the Tillingbourne Room.
The Main Hall is a traditional building with a high vaulted ceiling, stage and wooden floor. Its large windows give it a wonderful, spacious feel. Licenced to accommodate up to 200 people, the hall is suitable for various uses and can be set out in different layouts to facilitate large meetings or gatherings, parties or weddings. There is a small kitchen to the side for domestic catering.
Adjacent to the Main Hall are the newly refurbished Chinthurst and Tillingbourne rooms which have a separate bar area and small servery. The rooms can be hired individually or jointly, making them perfect for smaller meetings and functions of up to 50 people.
A newer, separate building – The Upper Hall has a capacity for 80 people and is positioned adjacent to the Tennis courts and Bowling Green. It has a wooden floor and good natural light and is suitable for all types of meetings and parties.
A private car park has spaces for 40 cars.
